Jungho Jung
Jung Jungho (b. 1981) goes beyond simply reproducing the aesthetic forms of nature, by capturing the subtle energy hidden within and recording the flow of life through photography. He also presents, in the form of archive photographs, the bare face and structure of the city exposed through local development and changes. Recently, while researching folk tales and folk beliefs hidden within the community, his interests centered around how to capture and reconstruct invisible beings through photography and video.
Along with the solo exhibition Magnolia (BMW Photo Space, Busan, 2022), the artist has participated in various group exhibitions, including The Printed World (SeMA Buk-Seoul Museum, Seoul, 2022), Conservator Cโ€™s Day (MMCA, Cheongju, 2020) and SeMAโ€™s New Acquisitions: MULTI-ACCESS 4913 (SeMA, Seoul, 2019)
